Easter Pictures 2011

Abigail-7, Carson-9, and Logan-almost 3

Abigail Mae Beard

Carson James Beard

Logan Clarke Beard

The next pictures are what we did with our time while we were waiting for the landlord to show up with a key. I wanted to take pictures before church.  We headed out and Jason shut the door forgetting it was locked.  We did not have our cell phones or any keys.  We had to wait for 45 minutes outside and none of us had coats.  It was somewhat cold but we survived.  We were 30 minutes late for church but we made it.  We are now getting copies of our house key so that we will not be locked out again.
I put Jason "in the corner for a timeout".  The kids had so much fun with that.  We got this picture and I am shocked at how well it turned out.

After church the Easter Bunny had came.  The kids got to go look for all the eggs.  It was a spitting but the kids were good sports and it did not bother them!  We had a wonderful Easter and are grateful for the atonement.

Poppy Beard's 60th Birthday!

For Poppy's 60th Birthday the boys all went to a Mariners game.

Easter 2011

Grammy sent the kids Easter candy necklaces!!  Logan worked so hard on his.  He put three beads on then I finished it for him. It took him 5 minutes to do three so I figured he worked hard enough on it.  The kids had so much fun making them.

Logan posing after his was made.
Dying Easter eggs!!  I was so glad we did not have big messes.  The kids were very clean about it.

Logan at Grandma Beard's easter egg hunt!

All the cousins enjoying the candy from Grandma Beard's house!

Logan loves looking at books!!!

Grammy and Papa gave Logan a new book for Easter.  It is dr. Suess's "Oh say can you say Din-o-saur."  He loves it.  This is how I found him the other day.  Not sure why he likes sitting in my baskets but he is cute!!

Abby lost another tooth!!

Abby lost her 3rd tooth.  It is her first one on the top.  She was so excited to show everyone her big space!!  She actually let me pull this one out.  The last 2 she did by herself.  This one did not want to come out.  She was very happy the tooth fairy came!!

Bowling

Carson

Logan carring a 6 lb ball all by himself!!

Abby

We went bowling while we were at my grandpa's funeral.  I did not have my camera but we decided to go as a family later.  We went April 9, 2011 with Grandma Beard.  The kids love bowling even when we don't so so good.  We plan on going lots.  Carson has great form and does very well.  He hardly uses the bumpers.  Logan just loved throwing the ball, but he has always loved throwing balls since he was 6 months old.  My Grandpa Llyod loved watching him throw a ball at the age of one.  He passed away shortly after that but that was something he loved about Logan.  Logan would not even care if it knocked any pins down.  We had so much fun!!

Logan loves the Broncos

Logan is wearing a broncos helmet and loves it.  It drives Jason crazy but what can ya say.  He does have Egley in him!!  Oh and he loves his Uncle Jacob and he is the ultimate bronco fan.  I do love the fact that Logan is in his underwear.  Not sure where his pants where!!

Grandpa Bryce

My Grandpa Bryce passed away March 28, 2011.  He was a wonderful grandpa and I am so happy he is now with my grandma.  She passed away almost 8 years ago.  I know that when he was reunited with her that was a moment we can only imagine.  The funeral was April 1, 2011 in Minkcreek Idaho.  It was a wonderful funeral.  There were lots of tears but not from sadness but joy in remembering our grandparents.  I was asked to speak with 3 of the grand-daughters.  I was grateful to be able to talk about the memories of my grandpa with the help of my siblings.  We each had a memory we wanted to share and they all had a theme in them.  Our grandparents made each of us feel like we were the special one.  They were always teaching us lessons and showing how to be great examples of Christ.  I am grateful for everything my grandparents taught me.  I will miss them but look forward to the time I will be able to see them again.  I am grateful for my parents who have taught me what it means to be a member of the chruch and my hope is that I am not diappointing them.  I am grateful for the atonement and the chance we have to remember what the true meaning of Easter is.  I am grateful for the sacrifice that Christ made for me so that I can return to live with my Heavenly Father again and also be with my family forever.  I am grateful for my temple marriage that promises me that if I live my life the way Christ did that I can be with my family forever.  I love my family and all that I learn from each one of them.

First time for everything

I am sad to say that none of my kids have ever been rollerskating before. I was shocked when I thought about it.  As a kid I loved to rollerskate and when Jason and I first got married we loved to rollerblade.  Well Ariel their cousin had a birthday party at a roller rink March 19, 2011.  I was super excited but that day came and I was sick with the stomach flu.  Needless to say I was in no condition to go.  I stayed home while Jason took the kids to the party.  Carson was not a big fan of it.  He had trouble figuring it out and Jason was not aware that he gave up so soon.  Logan was not sure if he liked it either.  Well Jason left the boys with Grandma and skated with Abby.  By the end of the party she was skating backwards.  She can not wait to go again and I am sad that I could not be there.

Abby's Science Project

March 15, 2011 Abby had a science fair.  She decided back in April she wanted to find out "Which Cheese Molds the Fastest".  She picked out 7 different kinds of cheeses and left them in sandwich pages at room temperature.  Her hypothesis was that swiss would mold the fastest.  She found out that swiss did not mold till day 12, which was the slowest to mold.  Cheddar cheese had mold on day 2.  She had so much fun working on this project.  She did a great job.
