The past couple of months
Well things have been super buzy for us. We have moved from Kalispell Montana to Lacey Washington. Lacey is a part of Olympia. I can not believe we are here. It still seems unreal. Things have been crazy here. We moved out of our house in Kalispell on the 29th of July. We stayed out at my parents house. We were going to leave the 30th early and try to get there in one piece. We decided to go half way one day and go the rest on the 31st. We stopped in Ritzville Washington and stayed the night. I am so glad we broke the trip into 2 days. The truck was not fun to take on the hills and mountain passes. It did not like to climb. Logan rode with Jason the 2nd day. I told him to start with Logan and when he got tired of it I would take him in the van. Logan loved the truck. He rode the whole time. The kids even fought over who got to ride in the truck. We did make it and was very glad we did not have any trouble. We moved into our new house on August 1st. Since then it seems we keep having trouble with the new house. We love the house but it was not taken care of at all. We got to the house and waited 15 minutes for the landlord to show up. They got here and we started to move in. The house was not clean. The landlady spent the next 2 days cleaning the bathrooms and kitchen. On Wednesday night Jason started a load of cloths and next thing we heard was running water. In the half bath the toilet was overflowing. Jason stopped the washer and I got my carpet cleaner and started sucking up the water. We called the landlord and he said he would be there the next morning. Anyway so we got it all cleaned up then headed to bed. The next morning Jason and I took a shower and after we were done Carson runs up the stairs yelling something was wrong. Come to find out our showers caused the toilet to overflow once again this time with gross water. It went into our laundry room and started to get water in our family room. I again got my carpet cleaner and worked till the landlord showed up an hour and a half later. He then called a rotto rooter guy. Long story short the place had to be cleaned up and walls and subflooring had to be dried out. The floors took a week to dry with huge fans. I am so glad to have that part of the process done. We are now waiting to have the new carpet and lynolium installed. The last tenant, can I say, was a complete slob and never told the landlord about any repairs. I am excited about the house. We love it as soon as everything gets done. We like the neighborhood. It is interesting living by Jason's family. We never thought we would so it seems like a dream. I am thankful for Jason's job and to be by his family. This was the last place we thought we would end up but grateful for the opportunity for a new adventure. I will post pictures soon.
