144 balloons and 3 kids

So after Jason came home we took all the balloons from his car and put them in Carson's room. The kids had so much fun playing.

"April Fools"

So this day is usually no big deal. We are duds and don't do anything fun. Well this year was different. Jason was scheduled to work so I thought of a great plan. Jason bathed the kids as usual before he left for work and then headed out the door. After he was gone, we all got our shoes on and headed to Walmart. We bought 144 balloons and 2 bags of dad's favorite candy. We then headed to Jason's work. We decided to move Jason's car to a different parking spot. We spent the next hour and 1/2 blowing up all the balloons and stuffing them into Jason's car. It was freezing so we would blow up about 10 balloons then the kids would hop out and put the balloons in the car. We were so glad to be done. We then headed back home for movie night.

This morning I woke up and anticipated a phone call about 7:30 am. At 7:40 Jason called and asked if we moved his car and did something to it. Of course I played stupid. Anyway he asked how he was going to get home. He ended up giving 10 balloons to a co-worker and popped 4 then proceeded to drive home. Thankfully we only live about 2 miles from the hospital. I was so glad we did this. It was fun for me and the kids. Not sure what Jason thinks, but I will be looking for him to pay me back next year. Abby says that next year we should do newspaper instead of balloons. Not sure I want to do that but creative thinking. Hope everyone had a great April Fool's Day. We sure did.

The kids worked so hard blowing up the balloons!!!!

Yes they are in pj's but they had fun.
